What one thing do all successful people have in common?
What one thing separates those who go to the top from those who never seem to get there?
The answer: Good Thinking!
Those who embrace good thinking as a lifestyle understand the relationship between their level of thinking and their level of progress. They also realize that to change their lives, they must change their thinking.
Thinking is a process of using our brain to interpret something that we doesn’t know it well. Sometimes thinking process starts out with knowledge. All thinking starts with knowledge, whether a little bit or a good understanding of your thinking issues.
Individuals have their own way of thinking therefore different person may come out with different interpretation.
Based on my readings from the article ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle, he had also think the same as for him, he had found the most fundamental truth when he made his famous statement which is “ I think, therefore I am”.It is true that thinking creates an opaque screen of concepts, labels, images, words, judgments, and definitions however for me it doesn’t blocks true relationship as the author said though it is hard for people to understand ones stand.
We've all had recourse to say: "My head tells me to do one thing, but my heart says do the other." Sometimes we are forced to make a decision but we feel ourselves to be pulled in opposite directions by reason and emotion. That is also the same as always happened to me as well.
I’m agreed as Eckhart Tolle said that “it is not much as you use your mind wrongly-you usually don’t use it at all. It uses you”. As for me, I also usually believe that I am my mind but is only the delusion. The instrument are taking me over as the author also believe that “you are unconsciously identified with it, so you don’t even know that you are its slave . Its almost as if you are being possessed without knowing it, and you take the possessing entity to be yourself." That is all that I can understand based on my thinking as a thinker about this thinking topic.
'To do well in life, we must first think well.'
